I have been involved with terriers for over  40 years, beginning with Airedales.  In fact I brought my Airedale bitch "Aida" from Germany when I first came to the United States.   I bred her with the famous Ch. Harham's Explorer, owned by Harold Florsheim (Chicago), and she became the mother of my first champion.  

After years of hand stripping Airedales, I wanted a breed with the terrier traits I loved, but one that would be easier to maintain.  My interest in the Cesky Terrier began because the Cesky was a terrier that could be clipped instead of hand stripped for the show ring, and has continued because of the many wonderful attributes of this delightful breed.

Sophie, now 5, was my first Cesky Terrier. Sophie did very well in the show ring: 2 "Best in Show" awards with ARBA and "Best ARBA Terrier" two years running.

Sophie's daughter, ARBA/ACTC Ch. Von Guenzburg's Serena's Song (Serena), has inherited her mother's winning ways, completing her ARBA Championship and her ACTC Championship, and taking Winner's Bitch at the 2000 ACTC National Cesky Terrier Specialty show.

My Cesky puppies are lovingly raised in my home and available occasionally to special, approved homes.
